Whether our guests are attending a game to see their favorite player on the court or their favorite artist Illuminate the stage, as our Motion Graphics/Digital Asset Specialist, you play a key role in crafting engaging and outstanding content for the Rose Quarter digital signage network that would include our concourse, in-arena, outdoor stanchions and other places where signage is displayed.

 

For this role, we require motion graphic design experience and an integrated perspective to assist in developing concepts, storyboarding and providing an overview of pre-production content used throughout the building.

Day-to-Day:

Oversight of the software (Tripleplay) used to control the IPTV network:

  • Schedules content and assists with loading creative for the IPTV system.
  • Builds dynamic and outstanding motion graphics for use in all building signage.
  • Continuously look for ways to engage audiences through dynamically connected screens and actively look for data streams that can be used to trigger events.
  • Works directly with Levy to ensure menus are in working order and current.
  • Works with partnership and other TBI departments in scheduling and reporting of sponsored content.
  • Ensures quality control and technical standards for all content.
  • Regularly explores new insights and technologies to improve the fan experience.

Oversight and coordination of digital signage asset distribution for IPTV and ANC LED signage throughout the Rose Quarter:

  • Coordinates pre-game with LED operators (ANC) about scheduled content. Prepares and tests new content pre-event for quality control.
  • Ensures partner elements are distributed to the accurate platforms and scheduled for the event.
  • Assists in asset reporting of ANC run content for the partnership team in addition to acting as ANC backup when needed.

Assists as a motion graphics editor during long road trips and the off-season:

  • Design, produce and edit graphic content for the Creative Service department.
  • Composite and work with produced video including keying, SFX work and composting.
  • Assists on edits for features, highlights, commercials, tune-ins, digital content and game presentation content.
  • Combines motion graphic content with edited video. This includes color correction and title work.

Skills Needed for Success:

  • Proficient with After Effects. Knowledge of Premiere and Audition a plus.
  • Expert knowledge of video formats and codecs. Technically savvy and willing to keep up with industry trends and innovations in the digital signage industry.
