Blazer5 Gaming is looking for a motivated full-time Player Manager who will be responsible for leading all aspects of player logistics, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and coordinating with team staff and management. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for all players, including contact information, medical records, and other important documents.

As our Player Manager, you will play a key role in continuing to set the standard on what it means to be a premier Esports organization within the NBA 2K League.

Day-to-Day:

• Drive competitive success
• Coordinate with team staff and management to schedule practices, games, and other team events
• Work closely with and advise Operations and Content to improve team cohesion, content versatility, and player/team growth initiatives to meet yearly critical metrics
• Capture, analyze, and report relevant data to team management
• Make travel arrangements for players, including booking flights and hotels
• Coordinate with team staff to ensure that players have all vital equipment and supplies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all players, including contact information, medical records, and other important documents
• Connect with players and team staff to ensure that everyone is aware of team schedules and plans

A Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to critically think on the fly to address any issues that arise
• Experience with sports management or a similar role is preferred, but not required
• Strategic thinker with excellent leadership, management, and communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to navigate both internal and external parties
• Knowledge of the industry and its key players
• Tech savvy, ability to troubleshoot any computer issues that may arise
• Passion for sports and NBA2K is a plus
• Have a driver’s license
• Must have a valid passport and be able to travel domestically
